One thing I love about this season is the movies it brings to T.V.. Ones of caring and looking to help others that on most days you would skip over in search of that episode of Bones you missed 3 weeks ago.
Like the movie I am watching tonight ‘The Heart of Christmas’. The description is like most but nothing that really pulls you in “Members of a community ban together to help a terminally ill boy celebrate Christmas” But within 5 minutes I was hooked. It focuses on one boy Dax Locke but updates on the friends they have made in the hospital each with their own touching story and any which could have been a movie on their own. It is based on the true story of Dax Locke who at the age of 13 months was diagnosed with AML M7 Leukemia. Sadly Dax lost his battle with cancer at the age of 2, he became and Angel on Dec. 30th 2009
This movie had my eyes watering so many times as I am sure any parent who can only imagine what these families have gone through would water up as well. My thoughts and prayers go out to all families that are and have gone through this.
